Chevy Corvette C8 | SV-F5 | Savini Wheels

When it comes to American sports cars, the Chevy Corvette is at the top of the hotness list. With every iteration of this American classic comes better features and the mid-engined C8 Corvette is the best version EVER! It’s upgraded good looks puts it in the same class of rival Italian supercars (like Ferrari) and now has the same cabin-forward proportions of other luxury supercar exotics around. Since it’s inception in 1953, Chevy had the engine up front, but this year changes things! Also, Chevy isn’t offering manual transmission with the C8 – only a dual-clutch, automatic gearbox (which is the same for a McLaren or Lambo).

Under the hood, the new C8 Corvette features a $5,000-track-ready Z51 Performance package that pushes the limit for any speed demon. It can do 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds, which is 1.1. seconds faster than the last C7 version.

Inside, expect plenty of real estate for a comfortable weekend road trip. There’s all sorts of creature comforts like the 8″ center infotainment system that comes with all the bells and whistles of in-car technology. There’s also a 14-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system to blast your favorite tunes.

The Shoe Surgen’s Cadillac Escalade | SV63 | Savini Wheels

We had a chance to catch up with The Shoe Surgeon at his new creative Los Angeles campus and hooked him up with a set of Savini Forged SV63 wheels for his murdered-out Cadillac Escalade.
